Sub Q fluids

[Marci and Buddy]

Buddy has been getting subQ fluids on as as needed basis, and i have noticed that whenever i give it to him, he becomes very subdued, quiet and tired for at least a day. I wonder why, since it helps him with hydration and his fur looks more alive.
Anyone have any idea what it may feel like to recieve these fluids? Just wondering.Thanks!

I do not see that with my Stuart. Maybe Buddy just gets stressed out from administering the fluids.
