Hello again everyone,
Mo has me upset this entire weekend. I did take the advice from my last post about keeping .1 dose and giving a snack at +8 or +9. He is taking to the tuna.
Since Thursday when I began transition for time change, Mo began giving me a difficult time with eating his Friskies Pate, but would eat his kibble. I do not believe it is anything health wise because the last time I had this issue he refused everything! He is not acting funny one bit. I truly think he is just being beyond difficult and it is frustrating me like no other...
I knows I will give in to giving him his little bit of kibble so I could give him his shot. So with all this I have a few questions.
1. What are the rules of giving a shot of lantus without food? I don't want to not give him his dose when he needs it, but I also don't want to keep giving in to him with kibble. Yes, is is mature 0 in a very very small amount.
2. How long does it take for the snack to take effect on his pancreas? I am waiting for a paycheck to get an automatic feeder since I need 3 for all of my cats because I know they will fight if I just have one.
3. I keep wondering if he needs more insulin like a .2 but I worry then it will cause shot misses...
Anything will help me guys. This cat is going to give me grey hair along with more stress then I can handle. It is so challenging for me because I am diagnosed OCD specifically with numbers so all of this is killing me.
I just felt like yesterday was a good day for him even though he is giving me trouble with food, but why going back up to the 130's?

I appreciate all of YOU!
