Stress after car ride

Hey everyone happy new year!

I had to bring my cat to our house in the mountains as we are staying here for a few days. My cat has always been used to this since she was little, but now she’s in remission and I have a question: can this affect her remission? If she gets stressed out for the car ride and her BG rises, will it go back to normal?

Tonight I don’t have any strips, I will buy them tomorrow.

Absolutely car rides can cause stress for some cats. It didn't for mine, but I remember seeing one members whose cat's numbers would go really high (over 400) after a car ride. Even after he went into remission, but then he'd bring them down on his own. So you might see a temporary rise, but it shouldn't impact remission, unless there is something else happening as well. Good idea to test to see what happens.
