Strange behavior

Hi Guys: I have 3 cats. One, is diabetic, George, and he is doing well, after an emergency visit to the Vet. this past Wed. BG was 38. , He was diagnosed on Sept. 6, 2019, w/ BG of over 600. Vet. started him on Lantus 3U. 1U seems to be doing well for George. My one other cat, female, Lucy, seems to be flipping out. She was on the sofa w/ me today, and she thought she saw something, and jumped about a foot and a half into the air. Weird behavior. Another thing she does often is take a bite or two of food, and RUNS into the basement. I never saw anything like this, and I have had a lot of cats. She is tinkling small amounts of urine in her box (I have 4 litter boxes in the basement. ) She eats ok, but looks thin to me. The diabetic cat, George, and the female, Lucy, were together when I got them at the humane league, about 10 yrs. ago. Is this crazy behavior?
 
Hopefully she is just going through a phase.
She can also see all this attention George is getting and feel a little left out and jealous.

My Gustav started behave 'sad' from all this nice and cuddly attention Simba got every day for his diabetes. So I said to Gustav Simba wasn't laying in my lap to get cuddles, he was sitting in my lap to take his bg with a very painful needle. But Gustav was still 'sad' and little jealous, so finally I said he could come and lay in my lap too as Simba did and take his bg as Simba BUT that the needle was very sharp and it would really really hurt. Gustav became so happy about getting to lay in my lap as Simba did, and didn't pay attention to the rest I said about the needle and pain. So I did routine just as with Simba, and oboy how painful Gustav thought that needle pricking was. He became so upset, sulking, and limped and limped totally handicapped asking me to get a wheelchair for him (note he was fine, not injured).
But that's how Gustav saw it.

You have had your hands full with George, so maybe Lucy sees he gets more attention than her. But also include her. Feed her extra, boiled peeled shrimps for instance, let her smell and look and get explanations about George's diabetic stuff. They do understand so much more than you think.

Lucy gets a lot of attention. I never saw anything this weird. Lucy taking a bite or two of food and runs into the basement. I basically have to feed all 3 cats at separate times.
