Starting Semglee and stopping Vetsuin. Dosage advice

You would start Semglee at about the same dose as you have been giving Vetsulin or slightly less. You have not been giving a consistent dose of Vetsulin though. I would be inclined to start at .50.

I don’t think you are using our spreadsheet. Would that be possible? It’s hard to see the dosing with yours.

Here’s your last post from main for continuity.

Someone made my spreadsheet from another group -before I found this group, which I am using exclusively now. I had been staying mainly at the .5u dosage but she was dropping low on the vetsulin to where I didn’t feel comfortable giving it to her if I wasn’t home and I had no luck with the .25 dose so I had skipped a few days but stared the .5 again just recently. This is why I suggested to my vet to use a better suited insulin that I could dose her at lower numbers and feel more comfortable which she agreed. But I not sure the dosage. I also have the U40 syringes in the 1/2 unit markings. Am I still able to use those?

The syringes you need are the U100 3/10 30 or 31 gauge 6 or 8 mm 1/2 unit syringes. This is a ReliOn brand but there are other brands as well.
