Before I start injections I have a few more things to ask regarding diabetes, injections and Spead Sheet (warning: stupid questions ahead …I always try to use the search tool and reading through posts first but having difficulty navigating and understanding how to use the FDMB, hopefully a matter of time so, please, bare with me).
1- What are the numbers that determine if a cat needs insulin or not? For instance, what number is too low to not give or
when is too high to give an injection?
2- Will beginning insulin shots bring the glucose down to cause Hypoglycemia or somehow fluctuate the GB numbers?
3- What’s exactly a cycle and how long does it last?
4- How often do I GB test my cat when I first start and how long does a curve lasts?
5- WHERE is best place to inject insulin? I read in one of the files that on the scruff is not the best place cause the
Insulin won’t be effective too fast…is that right?
6- Can someone confirm if I set up my Signature correctly and can see my Micio’s SS? I tried to link it but not sure I
did it right
