Buddy is low right now. Too low for 3.5 units. I haven't given insulin yet
Ok. If he's still under 150 should I cut the dose back? Last night he dipped to 75 at around +5 so I gave him 4 carb treats then he was over 400 this morning.Don't feed and test again in 20-30 minutes

I added to my comment above.
Can you get a +2 tonight? A lot of times that can almost act like a crystal ball as to what's going to happen later in the cycle. (although there's never any guarantee that even shooting a token dose would mean you wouldn't have to test later tonight due to the depot still being in play)
He was slightly lower a few days ago and I gave him 2 units and he did well. I'm now 50 minutes past shot time.Well that's about the same number. I hate for you to lose momentum because these are the numbers you want to see, but I also understand the problem with work.
You might want to just give a token dose (like maybe 1U) and get a test in 2-3 hours if you can just to make sure you can sleep the rest of the night without worry.

It would be a good idea if you write in lantus 9-21 in one of the spaces on your spreadsheet so members can see that and up top where you gave lantus My work schedule varies and overnight I'm getting up to test. Sometime my husband tests during the day. He's home daily due to epilepsy and doesn't work.I see in your signature it says attempting TR dosing method if you are feeding any dry food at all you have to follow SLGS , lantus likes consistency, you are giving different doses from one day to another, I see you leave for work at 5 AM but are testing often during the day cycle ,how do you manage to do that if you're at work, just curious
It would be a good idea to read over the dosing methods again so you can Buddy better regulatedIt would be a good idea if you write in lantus 9-21 in one of the spaces on your spreadsheet so members can see that and up top where you gave lantus

- Adjustments to dose are based on nadirs with only some consideration given to preshot numbers.
I'm sorry about the epilepsy , but glad your husband is home to test BuddyMy work schedule varies and overnight I'm getting up to test. Sometime my husband tests during the day. He's home daily due to epilepsy and doesn't work.
