We are again in remission. It appears that the relapse was caused by a bout of pancreatitis. The internist and I had a conversation about the possibility of recurring pancreatitis leading to relapses periodically. So it looks like rather than testing BG once weekly we will be testing every 2nd day to catch relapse more quickly.

Not sure if you've seen the pancreatitis primer yet, so I thought I might share it with you. One thing you can do for cats that have chronic pancreatitis flare-ups is to give weekly cyano-b12 injections as this helps reduce inflammation of the pancreas and thereby reduce pancreatitis attacks and severity.
