This morning, Ruckus was 92....he's too low to shoot 1 unit, and really too low to give .5 units, so we're feeding a little bit of HC FF, and will test again in 30 minutes....I put the 92 in the AMPS, but nothing in the insulin...when we test again, do I change the 92 to the new reading, and log the insulin, or do I leave the 92, add the dose, and put the new reading in +1 and just note that insulin was after the +1 reading?

You were right not to shoot. We would never suggest shooting at 92. If you have already fed him, especially higher carb, I would not trust any tests earlier than 2 hours from now. (Food impacts bg levels for around 2 hours after eating. You want to shoot a 'true' number, not a food influenced one.) I would suggest skipping this am. He may be higher than usual tonight (after 24 hours since the last shot) but I would reduce the dose. You want two shootable numbers daily so you need a lower dose than last night.

I know this is nerve wracking but it is very good news!
