Hi everyone,

Just a quick update, Spice is going back to vet today. I will get her lab results. I am pretty sure she will stay there all day again. My roomate is going to pick her up this afternoon. I will probably update but It will be very late since i do not get off work until 8 pm arizona time.

Just got back from the vet spice does have ketoacidosis and pancreatitis. She also has kidney disease, low blood potassium and a high white cell count. So Spice will be with the vet all day and she also gave me some instructions for tonite.

I just wanted to let you know that frequently blood panel results are out of whack in DKA situations so the CRF and low potassium, while they might need to be addressed, may also go back to more normal numbers after the dka and Pancreatitis issues are resolved.
