Ok so I finally found one vet who gave me a different option on the rabies vaccine. Every vet in my town uses the 3 year vaccine and every vet in the next few towns over also use that one. Now that I'm getting further out this vet said she uses the vaccine called Imrab? And it is a 3 year non adjuvenated vaccine as well. I've never heard of this vaccine and no other vets suggested it so it makes me wonder. Peter did research online and found that supposedly only purevax is the non adjuvenated vaccine on the market right now? It just makes me all so nervous, and I'm not sure we want to be toting all over the state for a rabies shot!

OMG Devon! I hope you don't have to go too far to get her this shot. I was thinking the next option was for you and Mocha to rocket off to another planet to a vet who gives Purevax!

wow lisa .. interesting! When I told this vet that purevax was recommended by the American Association of Feline Practitioners, she said, well all our other shots we do go according to that, but this is so rare we continue to use it .. That didn't really make sense to me but I'm not really one for confrontation either so I let it go .. Traci, that's to funny! But I'm pretty sure that would have been our next stop! Sheesh .. what we won't do for these cats!
