Some success

I just wish to share some good news with those that understand. Prince FINALLY started eating Fancy Feast Classic, weening him off Fancy Feast Grilled with extra gravy. I almost gave up and made my own because he would not eat any other brands I found. It took a lot of begging! An obvious improvement in his behavior and eating/drinking habits in just one week already I'm watching him very closely but concerned a bit because now he is throwing up every morning (looks like gravy).... is he trying to eat the other cats kibble in hunger while we sleep? Almost 2 months into this adventure...still more to go. He needs to gain more of his weight back.

I'm glad to hear your kitty is beginning to eat the fancy feast. We decided to switch all the cats to ff, since Lulu was getting into the dry food, and he now seems to be heading towards remission. He is gaining weight too. They all free feed wet..but I still take the food up at night on the nights Lu hasn't gotten insulin. At first they ate like there was no tomorrow... since they only got wet food as a treat before, but now they have leveled off and are eating normally. They seem happier and more active too!

If you can't switch them all to canned food, can you pull up or take away the dry food at night?
