solostar and refridgeration

I just recently switched my cat from Prozinc to Lantus Solostar. I have used the vials in the past so this is new to me. I have ordered some from Canada (which is actually coming from India) and it isnt expected to be delivered for 21 days! Will this be ok, I know they use cool packs but surely they wont last 21 days. My second question is do I put these pens in the fridge once opened? I have a pen right now that I have been using, and I just saw on the Lantus page it states not to keep them in the fridge after opening???

The insulin is ok in the fridge. The pen itself may not function if refrigerated.

since you draw from the pen with a syringe, it will be fine to refrigerate...

just a note...i ordered from 77 Canadian Pharmacy...and got my order in 4 days...
it cost $15.00 for the shipping, but price was about $100 less than US price, so i was thrilled...
