I gave .25u and he's doing great. At +4 he's 88. Can someone guide me? I just gave him a small snack. how often should I recheck him and when do I stop? Sleep is overrated lol
I'm around for a little while. Marje is on Pacific time so we're around as are any number of others who have handled low numbers. You're good to go!
I'd give Soldier a teaspoon or two of low carb food to encourage his staying in this range. You may also want to take a look at this post on handling low numbers.
Hi Maria. Welcome to LantusLand (LL). We were all super nervous the first time our kitty dropped below 100. Hang in there and stay calm and all will be well. You are in the right place.
I'm in tears but happy at the same time. I gave a tbsp Friskies Classic Pate. I will stay up as long as I have to. I just don't know what to do with myself. I'm so pleased and so scared... he won't be thrilled but I will get a +4.5
Just to tuck this away once the excitement has subsided, it's best to open one condo every day. You didn't need to start another thread with the +4. Rather, edit your subject line on your existing condo to ask for help.
Because LL is so big and because we link our daily condos together, it's recommended to have one condo, per cat, per day.
No worries! It's a lot to figure out. Give Soldier lots of petting and scritches. He is such a handsome guy. You can also take down the 911 icon since everything is under control. It tends to give people a little anxiety when they see it. You are doing great!

When you want to update your subject line with your most recent test, you need to edit the subject line in the first post in the thread. It's the only subject linee that's visible on the board. It makes it easier for us to scan the board to see if there's something unusual about your results.
posted in the subject line. i'm sorry that i did so much wrong tonight. I appreciate your patience in letting me know how it should be done. Soon I'll be a pro ;-)
