I gave him .5 units.

Am I supposed to still be chasing if he goes low enough or am I sticking to .5 every 12? Friday I have to get back to 5/5 shots through Sunday evening for work. Right now I'm at 11/11. So if I stick to this schedule, he will have to get his Friday pm shot 6 hours late.
 
I'd try to get back to your schedule. For now, it doesn't look like the .5 is doing enough, but I'd give it a few more cycles. Sometimes it takes them awhile to settle into a dose; sometimes it takes a while to come down from high numbers. If it isn't enough, you can always start increasing by tiny amounts. If he runs long with .5, then it is his pancreas and you might have to start "chasing"

Just think of it as "gathering data" Don't let it drive you crazy.
