I don't know if I should shoot or how much. If he goes from 500 to 100, wouldn't that mean giving him the same amount if he is 275 could possible send him into hypo? Maybe I should just give .5, or wait another hour or so?
From yesterday's thread, I looked at the pdf about the test strips, and it seemed that there shouldn't be much variance from only being left open for 3-4 hours.
I glanced at Catannc's ss and think I kind of get the idea. Basically, I would have to test him frequently and as soon as he starts going 200 and above, give him a small dose until he starts to go back up to 200 and above again and then another small dose? So the cycles could be anywhere from a few hours to +20 or more?
His 5 P's seem to be regular, I doubt I would be able to monitor his water since I use a fountain, and the food may be difficult because the other cat decides that the food in his bowl is tastier than hers, even though it is the same. I do have a baby scale, but I should probably write down the numbers, I just kind of go by the last recorded number on the scale.
