It seems he just got home from a Vet conference in Barbatos (lucky him) and there was a feline diabetic vet there giving a lecture, he said she was very interesting a had a ton of knowledge he had never heard of so he is going to revue what she has done to get a 99.9% success rate to reach otj_icon . I told him that I would be very interested in what he finds out. I also updated him on Loki and explained that I had taken him off dry food completely and he was looking better as well as getting better results on his BG. He asked why I had not told him and I explained I was afraid to tell him that I did this with help from friends I met here. He was very pleased with Loki's results from his SS, and gave kudos to you all here. Of course he told not to forget about him as far as Loki and the other pets go. I will pass along what he finds out and will discuss further Loki's case.
Just though you guys would like to know.

I bet there are many other people who are afraid to go against their vets, so just follow what's done here and don't tell their vet. Maybe it might be worth it to approach your vet and see what is said about different approaches.... you may be pleasantly surprised that your vet is more than open to this protocol and the ways that members here have been treating their cats.

I think a lot of us would be very interested to hear what this vet at the conference had to say.. 99% success rate of OTJ is very high...

always interested in the new research...

I think it's handy ( but not cheap) to print Dr. Pierson's website to give to the vet..... They are far more likely to read a paper print out we give to them then they are to
go click on the website and read it there. ( depends on the person) But a paper copy gets their interest.
