BY ME!!!!!!!

I had to take him to a Petsmart Adoption event to fill out the paperwork and get micro-chipped but he is now officially my sugarkitty with a forever home!!! We are having a big party today. Hope Lucian, Cedric, and Autumn can make it. Trinity, Wink... all kitties invited!!! Lots of catnip brownies (LC) to go around

Uh... I never called him Snoball. It was a name he did not recognize so my boyfriend re-named him because when you can get the BF invested, he will do things like pop over when he needs an insulin shot and I am not able to get home...

Would it be too confusing to start using his real name on the Board?

Yeah! At first a moment of panic, thinking Snoball had been adopted by someone else, then a big sigh of relief to learn that Robin was the adopter. Way to go.

Yes, we'd love to know Snoball's real name.

Heck, I don't use the name the shelter gave to Wink. I took his name, kept the first syllable and then ran with it and called him Wink Wink Nudge Nudge. Sometimes he's affectionately called Nudgie when he's being a pest or doesn't want a hug or a pat. ;-)

I KNEW IT!! YOU ARE A FOSTER FAILURE!

Welcome to the club...hehe

Of course we want to know his purrever name!!

Yes! Yes! I am a failure! WooHoo! I am a failure!!! :RAHCAT

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to ALSKA

It is Swedish for Loving. Alska was not a lap cat when he first arrived but he would sit beside me and put his forehead against my leg - it's very endearing so my very blonde BF named him this (Aw-skah) of course with the Swedish inflection of a rise on the second syllable.

I guess eventually I will change his chart and start posting his real name in his condos.

Congratulations!! drinking24
SO happy that Alska is now home!!
Thanks for the party!! party_cat

I love it! Maybe for a bit you can put Snoball/Alska on his condo till every one gets used to it. Congrats Al baby, on your furever home!

And update your signature with his name and the fact that you are not his foster mommabean anymore, but his furrever mommabean. Way cool.

How about Alska(FKA Snoball), the FKA standing for Formerly Known As.

Welcome Home Alska!!!

Now to convince my autocorrect that his name isn't Alaska. lol

Mel, Maxwell, Autumn and The Fur Gang

Congratulations!

I'd keep both names, as Alska Snoball, or Alska (formerly Snoball)

When you edit your signature with the name, it will update all your previous posts. Keeping both names in the sig will make it less confusing to anyone reading old posts.

I'm a foster failure, too! Four years ago, Pipsqueak (the smallest), Fission (the explosive hissing spitting one), and Smokey Jo were 4 week old, semi-feral kittens brought to my vet that were too young to adopt. They are now Pip (still a smallish cat), Fizz (now a bubbly little girl), and Jojo (a goofy little boy)

I too 'hiccuped' when I saw your subject line! WOOT WOOT!!! Welcome HOME Alska...but I think you've already unpacked quite some time ago... :-D :-D cat_pet_icon

We would be AWFUL foster failures....we have trouble letting them go once they climb into our hearts.

BIG HUGS! YARD DANCE!!!

Yay! I just saw this. :-D It is exactly one of the reasons I could never foster: I'd end up with a house full of cats! Congratulations on your fostering failure!
