Higher numbers than I would have liked to see yesterday, but not bad! No rush, and she looks so much better. A mostly regulated happy kitty is nice to see. May have to increase her to .50 after a few days, which is fine. I may be doing closer to that than .25 anyways. 1 unit syringes are hard to gauge for me. I THOUGHT the pharmacy was ordering me half units, but nop so I ordered myself some and they should be in by the first! Gave her a 1/4 tsp of miralax this morning. 1/8 twice a day doesn't seem to quite cut it.
 
Split the difference? She seems to do a big drop sometimes between +2 and +3. A little food on board 1/2 hour before that drop might slow it down.

How much have you been feeding at +3?

So I do 1/4 can of Friskies like six times a day to make a can and a half minimum. Her vet wants her to gain weight (she’s 11.4ish now) so if she wants more than that I will give it. I’ve noticed her eating can shoot her BG up for like 3 hours sometimes.

My boys are prone to constipation too. They get one Proviable-DC (probiotic), one B12/folic acid, 1/2 tsp lactulose and 1/4 tsp miralax plus warm water mixed into their food (spread out throughout the day). It definitely helps!
