July 4th was a nice, lazy day for her and she stayed in the yellow nice and pretty- actually 3 days of straight yellows with a blue thrown in
. At least until the idiots started the booming fireworks at dusk with a burn ban on. Somewhere at the outskirts of town someone set the grass on fire and it burned a house, shed, and barn before it was put out. Yes, multiple arrests were made but that is small condolence to those who lost their place to live  .
Then we get to last night. Partial fur shot and I could really tell it in her numbers overnight. Poor baby got into the red- barely there but still red that wasn't directly food related. High last night and this morning so hopefully her latest dose will settle her down again.
She is eating more so I've been keeping a diet diary for her to track when her pt is acting up and spinning out GH. She grunts when I pick her up but still enjoys cuddles with her rasping wheeze of a purr. I've started to NOT pick her up by her middle and to scoop under her front legs from the front and her side at the back to not put any pressure on tummy area just in case. If I retrain now I won't even have to think about it later
