Thought I would come do an update over here while I had the chance.

Well, Sneakers seems to like the 4u as she stays in the yellows or near yellows and throws me a few blues now and then- like this morning. This morning she was almost at a no-shot area, so I am thankful that next week I can start creeping back her shot time. If I can get it back to 5:30 that would be great. I get off work at 4:30, get 30 minutes walking at the free gym I have at work, and home to shoot by 5:30. And if she gets into a no-shoot # I would have 2 hours to play with before having to leave- and not mess up her evening schedule.

She definitely has a late nadir- had one on PZI, too.

Started a new job yesterday- it was okay but as my Outlook was out I didn't get much done that day. I did, however, get to have a new badge made- which meant a new picture. Usually I am not too fond on pics but the one it was replacing was a bad one, so I didn't mind (And I'm 50lbs lighter, so that helped  ).

Off to finish getting ready for work. I hope today is better than yesterday. Went from a 2yr old, 2gig RAM memory computer with 2 monitors to a 1gig, 4 or 5 year old with one dinky monitor. Sigh...

Something to be said for having the feline cooperation when it comes to your schedule! And KUDOs to you for losing the weight! I had great success when I was swimming for an hour every morning, but lately I've "fallen off the pool" and unfortunately my successes were lost. I kept telling myself once I got Grayson somewhat regulated I'd get back there. What a difference it makes for the way you feel (not to mention that new skinny pic on your badge!). Great job!

I know what you mean about computer changes. I'm fortunate at work, but when I had that laptop issue a couple of weeks ago, I felt like I'd digressed back to the dark ages! It's amazing how quickly we acclimate to the faster, newer, shinier technology... and how quickly we forget that not too long ago we were sending letters, or waiting at home for a phone call to come in!

It looks like Sneakers is "swimming in a pool of yellows" a great deal of the time. That's what I was told about Grayson in the pinks... but he was there for months with barely a yellow thrown in! Getting the IAA diagnosis came as no surprise - it actually was a relief to know it wasn't every little reason I was trying to come up with to explain his high numbers. "he must've eaten some dog food" "he was in the cupboard" "he was playing let's make a deal w/ the other kitties" "I must've given a fur shot" ....Seriously??? Nope - it apparently was his little body fighting every unit of insulin I shot him with!

You're lucky - you've got more color range that I was seeing... I was lucky to see a 50-100 point drop in a cycle, not like the 300 or 250 pt drop others saw from the same preshots! "Could there be something wrong w/ the insulin?" Every possible explanation... although I doubted most, it made me question EVERYTHING I was doing! As if I wasn't driving myself crazy enough with the meters!!!

Hopefully Sneakers will keep up the multi-color cycles! Have a great day.
