I have a question- I've been able to take Sneakers numbers throughout today and she has steadily dropped-

AM (not fasting) 443
+4 296
+6 288
+8 (minus 20 minutes) 276
+ 10.5 252 (fed less than an ounce)
+12 225

She appears to be going down and she gets her shot in 10 minutes.

Any suggestions?

what about a late nadir? My Oliver had a very late nadir, almost at ps time!
It could be the dose finally setting in too, or even getting ready for a decrease.
Still, the cycle ended nicely.

With late nadir, I liked to shoot a rising number.... I was nervous shooting a dropping number.
It's good you waited for a rise.

I have noticed occasionally/lately that she does have a late nadir.

Plus she got out today in the sunshine and walked around while I puttered in the garden.

No fast runs or gallops but getting out probably raised something :!: even if it was just good vibes

you know, she could also have just had a wee bounce after that nice blue you caught last nite.... it looks like she does dip a bit overnite so that may also explain her being on the high side in the am.
She's been high both morns the last 2 days.

Some of that high is food related- about an ounce if she isn't pestering me. I shoot at 7 but she gets fed at initially at 5:30- which is why I always count that as the fasting # and I try to hold out the rest until 6:30 or 7.

If she doesn't get her food she goes after mine- so I look at which is better- her low carb or my bagel and cream cheese?

At 7 I test her again and put down the other 2 oz as I fill her feeding tray for the day. Just opened the petsafe5 this morning and filled it up so we shall see how that goes.

night was doing good and morning AM shot was in the pink and not red. I can see how the others were bounces from being low overnight and then adding food. Her body is saying "TOO LOW!" after being high for the last half year. So I am guessing that she is still rising this morning and then will start dropping again. At least it won't be the run-away train drop she used to have.

Late school night- will get home around +13/13.5 tonight depending on how late the teacher goes. And the fall semester I will have 2 classes with teachers that won't let me out early- I'll be good to get home by +14.5 so I will be really focused this summer on getting her as regulated as I can  .
