YIKES!

I figure there are three causes:
1- Grandma got in the PMPS test (177  ) but missed the shot or did a fur shot (she was on her way to school as well). I've got an email out to her to find out. She just let me know all went well and the shot went in... :? Kind of rules of cause # 1. She said Sneakers was really hungry.

2- tumor ramping up and sending out GH-1 hormones all of a sudden so her numbers went from a really great BLUE to a bad looking PINK in 7 hours. I need to keep better track of her food intake as that will give me an idea on how much GH-1 is going out.

3- tumor is tapering off and all of a sudden she doesn't need as much insulin so she is bouncing like a flicked balloon

Otherwise... she is doing okay.

Don'tcha just love the possibilities? :?

Could be much worse, like Lucian with his blacks.

You'll figure it out and get her back to where she belongs. :-D

Wow that is a lot to have to consider to figure out where that ugly pink came from, although I assume that is pretty normal for an Acro girl. Just glad I don't have to sift through all that to figure out Autumn's strange numbers. Although today and last night she is throwing me for a loop.

It is either she is bouncing from too much insulin now that she is healing up from the dental
2) she licked the dog's bowl again without me catching her at it
3) The weather last night set her off as it was the first thunderstorm of the season and loud enough that it was shaking the windows.

We have rain here, too. It doesn't effect her unless we have thunder, although with her arthritis that might be changing.

Being an only gets me out of the "licked the other dish" although I feel the need to look around for some bread packages missing the plastic

Still trying to grasp that ONLY CAT thingy...just seems unnatural to me...lol.

You are so undercatted...don't you want to adopt a couple more? There are a couple of real beauties on DCIN right now but DH keeps telling me NO! And I keep telling him "But Honey, we don't have a pure white one yet, and we need another pure black, and a new himmie!" But somehow he just isn't buying it, but I'm still working on it. Now I'm appealing to his OCD...But honey if we adopt another one then the cat food cans divide up evenly again....lol

No one eats bread or plastic around here, but one of these days my desk is going to collaspe from the weight of all the papers we have to stash in it to keep Bert from eating them and I need to install baby locks on my sock drawer to keep Lady Jane from opening the drawer, digging out all the white cotton socks and eating those. Although the upside is I always have plenty of mauled socks to make rice socks out of...downside...my feet are getting cold due to lack of wearable socks...lol

I would LOVE to have more cats- and have tried to give Sneakers some friends but she has run the others off  . She is determined to be an only so I will keep her as an only until she passes on and then I will hope to adopt two at the Diabetic Kitty Store. At age 18 (almost) and having a brain tumor I will keep her happy until she passes on.

Plus- I have another year where I am at now and then it is up in the air where I go once I finish school. I could be moving, I might not. It depends on where i find a job when I graduate. So I don't think it would be fair to adopt and then find out I go into the military and have to move overseas and have to give them back if I can't take them with me.

What are you going to school for? I think you said once but I don't remember.

Health Systems Administration- learning how to run a hospital.
I graduate next May and get a 'real' job that will cover my bills and student loans

Well if you want to consider Nebraska....we have 3 new hospitals in the area just being built...I know this because Jon is on the crew that is roofing them but none are scheduled to open until sometime next year. There is one here in Hastings that always expanding, then there is one if Holdredge, one in Omaha and one in Kearney.

The Kearney one is kind of iffy, it started out as a doctor owned and run but they lost the financing behind it so it got put on hold but they are working on it again so I guess they found new money to finish it. Omaha is the leading cancer hospital in the area and it is a division of the Mayo Clinic and John Hopkins.

It will depend on if they offer a fellowship or if I can go straight in to work.

I've been advised to find a niche to focus on, so plan to beef up my IT side and work on EPIC (EMR system that is very popular all over). Currently I can tell you what computer to purchase and that is about it.

Apparently it was a bounce as her PMPS was 186 and +2 was 185 when I got home.

Yeck- her poor body must be going haywire and feeling poorly

But glad she came down to blues again. She must be hitting greens on her lows to cause it to go up. Will drop to 15u tomorrow AMPS in order to counter the next bounce.

Maybe she will go green tonight and I can catch it
