SS updated to this morning.

Doing high, but blood ketone tests yesterday was .8 and today was .3 so sticking with 8u for another day. She is starting to get in a normal curve now- the right way curve, so I know I'll need to take her back up again.

But at least she is stabilizing once more and giving me a steady level to lead off of rather than swinging back and forth like a pendulum.

No OTJ for my girl but this pen has lasted almost 2 weeks! Yahoo!!! :lol:

Heather, I don't know what the .3 and .8 ketone tests mean, but if she has any ketones I would not be sticking with a dose that keeps her is the 300s.

I'm not understanding why you continued to decrease her dose when she stopped having low blue numbers - or any blues at all. I don't think she was rebounding at that point (13u) and she had much better numbers on 15-16u.

Ketones have stayed low- in fact, that is what they read on Sunday- LO instead of a number.

Taking her back up slowly- 9u on Friday PMPS. Her numbers are getting better. PS's usually in the upper 200's but not 300's.

Checking out some other foods to give her some variety to the 4 we have.
