Snacking while doing curve?

i just measured Myrtle's bg 3 hours after her last shot and it's 85 - theoretically nadir shouldn't be for another 2 hours so I'm staying up late to do it again then. I'm just checking though, as I usually allow her to snack on dry food whenever, do I allow her to snack if she wants to or do I withhold snacks while doing a curve? Or do I risk hypo withholding snacks?

Can you restrict the snacks to every 2 hours while doing your curve so that the 2 hour BG is less food influenced? I did that when I was doing a curve so I could get a better dose action profile. So - test/snack/wait 2 hours/test/snack etc.
