The drop testing sounds more daunting than the original diagnosis "You're going to have to prick his ear and get blood". LOL (Which I feel like an ole pro now as far as testing) But I will definitely start practicing.

Truly, the drop dosing takes some practice, but it's actually easier than the description. If you were able to learn how to prick your cat's ear, you'll be able to learn to drop dose.

"Piece of cake" although that probably dates me horribly to say that.

OMG You should have seen me the first time I tried to poke Troubles ear! By the time I was through Trouble looked like a Katrina survivor and I was sweating and in tears! But with time and TREATS it got easier everyday. NO, Trouble didnt come running like so many others I read about. Nooo I had to hunt him down and "Assume the position" then poke. But you know what? I was saving his life. I was determined to save his life. He was angry at first but after a while it became a game with him. "Lets see how mad I can make her heh heh heh"
You are saving Smokeys life, Deana. Make THAT your focus.
