I fed and decreased to 1.5 tonight because of the 43. Still no signs of getting better from being on the Hyper-T medication

You shot already? I would get another test now...you should have stalled to see if she was rising or not. I would not shoot in the 40s anyway, even if she was rising. Please get another test and post it.

Like Laure, I wouldn't shoot the 40s. This is likely a dropping number. Do you have strips and high carb food on hand?

This is the problem with raising a Lantus dose a full unit regardless of what your vet told you.

Thanks for the update. Did you feed any HC food? Please get a +2 and plan on monitoring closely tonight. You are not data ready to shoot such a low number. Please read and print out the info in the following links....and ask questions about anything that doesn't make sense, ok?

Yes, I have like 300 test strips and lots of HC on hand as well! He just tested at +3 at 132 so he is going up. I'm going to do another test in 2 hours and keep a close eye on him. Thank you for the information!!
