Pudden was diagnosed with kidney failure on the 7th. I am trying to get her eating on her own again and was recommended slippery elm bark. I believe nausea and excess acid could be the cause and seb might help. Is slippery elm bark ok for diabetics? Thank you in advance!

Absolutely :) Elmo gets SEB 2x a day , every day for tummy stability . Perfectly safe and wonderful :bighug: Just be sure to allow 2 hours between any other meds and the SEB as it may interfere with absorption .

Thank you! I'm going to head over to whole foods and pick some up today. Hopefully it will help her tummy and get her eating again.

I used it too and found it very good for excess acid in the tummy. I used to give 3 am ( auto feeder) and 3 pm and it helped the little vomits that occurred with an empty tummy. I gave in a little bone broth.
