? Skipping

hi all,
I have had to leave last minute and there is no way for me to get lily her evening shot.
Is it okay to skip one dose and continue the next day?
I know she is past Hx DKA but genuinely can not avoid this.

My own thoughts are that it might be better to give a reduced dose rather than skipping because of her past history of DKA. But you have to be comfortable with whatever decision you make

Seconded on the basis that you're not giving a token dose really early.

Thanks guys. Decided against giving the shot. Will start again in the morning. Just back from a crazy and very unexpected drive to London and back, it was either that or lily gets no more test strips and we both do not eat!

Can't think of any better reasons for a trip to the Smoke.
