Skipping Dose of Pro Zinc before chaning to Lantus

My vet says to skip one cycle of ProZinc before changing to Lantus? Is this necessary?

No.

Prozinc is an in and out insulin. Effects last usually 10-12 hours max. No reason you can't start up the Lantus dose with the next cycle.
