AMPS 280

Pretty color that yellow. He bounced last night at PMPS, so was keeping my fingers crossed for another lower AMPS and we got it. He has had 3 out of the last four not be pink and one was blue! Maybe, just maybe that little pancreas and liver are waking up.

Soon it will be time for a new bottle of insulin and I am dreading calling the vet cause I cancelled his last BG check and have not been giving 3 units as instructed. Oh well, I have to remember that he works for me, not the other way around, right? I love him (the vet) but there are more of them if he doesn't like it.
 
I think when that vet sees how well Simon is doing he will be behind you 100%!! drinking24
His numbers are looking really good and that speaks for itself!!

Just tell your vet that you have learned to dose on sliding scale, which seems to be better than a constant 3U dose.

And that you are home testing to keep Simon safe.

Heading out for a while so could not wait for +6 so did a +5. Now that his nadir is between 5.5 and 6.5, he still has room to drop and I won't worry he will go too low while we are out. He has been an eating machine this morning and has already polished off 1.5 cans of FF and is eating now. :thumbup :thumbup :YMPEACE:

PMPS 300 confused_cat Boingo the bouncing kitty...even if it is only 20 points higher than his amps, it is still pink..barely a blush, but pink none the less... :YMSIGH:
