Churus are usually low carb. The Gravy Lovers should help, I usually give Khloe about 2 Teaspoons when she’s in the 40s. I’d try to hold off on the temptations. You can also mix a few drops of corn syrup into the gravy lovers to make a high carb if he keeps dropping. You probably already know all this but I know those 40s are scary.
I wasn't sure if churu was low or high carb, so that's good to know. After the 40 I used a food syringe to get the initial syrup into his mouth and then I mixed some churu and syrup onto a spoon and let him lick it. I don't think he'd eat the syrup alone.
. Simon is big and acts tough but he's mostly all bark no bite and if I wasn't so scared about his health right now I would have laughed at some of the faces he was making at me, he definitely has some theatrical face expressions.
You handled that low very well! It can be really scary at first, but when you're testing and feeding, you have the tools to keep him safe.
