just wanted to let everyone know we are just about back on schedule, Simba is doing good. Me, I am beat, just getting in from work a little bit ago... have a great weekend.

Nice, much better shooting the 3 units on those blues, but ACK.....shooting without a preshot test - you are going to give me a heart attack girl! Hope you got caught up with your sleep today. Not sure of your timezone but from what I could tell it was 3AM here when you posted (Illinois). Let us know how the day went when you get a chance.

Theresa, were the few days "off" schedule all equal cycles? Like all 11.5 hr cycles. Or did you shoot the mornings early (like +11) and the evenings were +12? I ask because the am numbers are so much lower than the pm numbers.

By themselves, those numbers look like he may be getting a tad too much insulin now and he is cycling between too low and then too high from rebound. One thing that happens as their body gets used to the insulin is that after raising the dose you need to lower. So, I would suggest getting a curve in - at least several spot checks at +6 to +10 so you can identify his nadir (we still don't know when it is) and how low he is going. Because the am PS is low, trying to get a +10 before it might tell you if he is coming off a really low number.

It may only take a drop to 2.75u to even things out.

And, yeah, always get PS tests, especially now that you are getting am numbers in the non-diabetic range. Nice to see those blues (100s) though, isn't it?
