Should I hang onto her dose for 4 more cycles??1/14 Chicamonkey AMPS 588

Morning, Suzi - I haven't gone back through your condos, but does Chicamonkey get food at night while you sleep? She could have gone lower, hence the bounce. I use an auto-feeder for Jax.

If it were me, you may be due for an increase but I would see if others could weigh in. That 106 the other day looks very green to me and she may have had greens last night. I clicked back through your condos and saw @tiffmaxee and @Sue and Luci have stopped by before - perhaps they can throw in their two cents.

Hope you have a wonderful day :bighug:

I was wondering the same... maybe hang on to 2.5 for two more days. No food at night ....that’s why I wished I grabbed a +7 or 7 but was exhausted and slept right through

No food at night
Feeding schedule could be something to experiment with - what times do you currently feed her?

I feed Jax the same for his AM and PM cycles (exception being of course if he's having an active cycle). Jax thinks every single meal is his last...food is gone as soon as it hits the bowl...so auto-feeder was a must for us; it's also nice because I can program it to rotate to an empty spot 2 hours before shot time (though I've never worried about Jax not finishing a snack lol). If Chicamonkey is a grazer, you could also just leave food in her bowl at night (it still needs to be picked up 2 hours before shot time).

Just something to think about. And I hear ya on the exhaustion - you need to take care of yourself too :bighug::bighug::bighug:

If you are going to be home to test from Thu-Sun, I would take the increase tomorrow AM so that you can get tests in.

Get some sleep and increase in the morning if you will be home to monitor. I agree with Bhooma. I do think she likely hit blue last night.
I just got home and my husband had given her these treats ... I’ve attached a photo... he gave her 5 he said.
Her PMPS was 499

Assuming you can also see the ingredients on the back of the package:

Brewers Rice, Corn Flour, Poultry By-Product Meal, Powdered Cellulose 14% (A Source Of Fiber), Poultry Fat (Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols And Citric Acid), Corn Gluten Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Flax Seed Meal, Lecithin, Potassium Citrate, Dried Brewers Yeast, Fish Digest, Calcium Sulfate, Taurine, Dl-Methionine, Choline Chloride, Salt, Vitamins And Minerals.

Not much in the way of protein, high in the rice, corn, etc. - cats don't need any of this stuff ... you may want to send these back to Chewy for a refund (btw, they'll probably just tell you to donate and you can get a refund or replacement)... try to search for freeze dried meats to use as treats - lamb, rabbit, etc. are all on Chewy.

A friend sent them as a gift... they will go in the trash.
My husband is getting more mobile in his wheel chair and finding “things”
So I have to “monkey proof “ and John proof the house now :)

I hear ya! I had to hide the forbidden treats from my DH - even though I told him they were strictly for emergency use only - sometimes he just 'forgot'...how do you forget???:rolleyes:

I am playing with her feeding schedule during the day. I used to give her a full can at 5 am , now I give her 1/2 can then make her wait 2 hours - retest and then give her the rest right before I leave for work ....
