Can I give Gretchen shot an hour after she eats or does it have to be same time? I don’t have my monitor yet. An hour after works way better for the am shot....:banghead:

With Novolin it’s actually better to wait a while after eating before injecting. Thirty minutes is usually recommended but you can try an hour - might be stretching the food cushion though. This insulin hits fast and hard so a food cushion in the bloodstream is desirable.
