short list /top canned foods

I've been working on getting the ss going & am amazed at how great Princess has been tolerating the ear pokes ever since I added a treat to the routine. Cats are so smart! She even lays down for me & doesn't move when the lancet touches her ear.
She is fed Purina DM from the vet & I was wondering what would be better , protein& carb wise. Yes, I checked out the food links, but it just confuses me! If only I was as smart as a cat
So, how about just a 'short list' of a few good ones. Besides the diabetes she's otherwise healthy.

I'm constantly trying new foods... trying to find something that Colby really likes. So far, he only really likes the seafood stuff, and I've read we should only feed that a couple of times a week.
