Shooting 45 mins early + lower PMPS - should I give a reduced dose?

Hi, I’d really appreciate your advice.

I need to give Jake his insulin in 30 mins at 8:30pm my time. I usually give him insulin at 10am and 10pm but I am on night shift tonight so need to give it early. I gave him his morning dose at 9:15am this morning to break up the 1.5 hour change so it’ll be 45 mins early compared to that.

Should I reduce his dose tonight since I’m giving it early? I will not be home for 12 hours until the very next dose is due so I won’t be able to act on any hypos.

His current BGL is 10.6 (191), which is not a level I would feel comfortable shooting at usually anyway as it is far lower than normal and perhaps only nadir now. He is on 4.5 units. Should I give a half dose or something?

Thanks for your help.
