Shoot tonight or not?

Tulip tested 313 at 7:42 am. Overslept this morning and have to feed/shoot early tonight because of a staff meeting at work, so I gave 0.75u instead of 1u. Didn't eat as much this morning.

Came home for lunch break. Tested 61 at 1:11pm (about +5.5), fed 1/4 cup of kibble. No physical signs of hypo, played with toy after eating kibble. Tested 71 at 1:41. Fed another 1/4 cup of kibble.

I have to go back to work right now. I don't know if I should give her insulin tonight, since I will only be able to be home between 5:45pm and 6:10pm tonight, which would be +10 from this morning's test.

Thoughts? I'm sorry that her spreadsheet is so wonky.

Sorry just seeing this now.

Withh that reading of 61 earlier today, I'd be reluctant to shoot that early today. While I don't like to recommend skipping, I think it would be the safer option because you don't have a lot of data to know what's been going on lately. You aren't getting any nighttime data and Scout could be dropping even lower at night as many kitty's do. Mid cycle testing is really important to know if dose needs adjusting and maybe you just haven't updated the SS but without more data, it's impossible to give you much in the way of specific advice.

I would strongly encourage you to get day cycle mid cycle tests whenever possible and also to get some night cycle tests even in the first few hours to see where Scout might be headed. At the very minimum, make it a habit to test Scout before bed every night making it part of your before bed routine.
