Hello Guys,

As all you know Shanga's stomatitis lesions are back. Today there was an appointment with the vet ...
His mouth seemed really bad :(
Vet got X-Rays to check if root fragments remained there, and It did.
Shanga had a surgery again today. And all the roots are clean now. So I hope that the reason of the lesions is this.
Hope my Shanga will heal soon, he needs your prayers and positive energies...
Btw, I checked his BG and it is 155 at the moment...

Shanga loves you all :)

Hugz from me and Shanga...

((((joy))) great to hear from you! i'm so glad you got him rechecked and the roots all removed. hoping, hoping, hoping this is the end of the stomatitis.

not too bad of a BG for all the stress.

when are we having shanga's OTJ party? did you have a chance to send CD photos yet?

I'm glad the vets got those root fragments out, and I am praying for a full and quick recovery for Shanga.

it's for this very reason that you should tell your vet... if there is an extraction, do another Xray after the extraction, to look for fragments.
Better to have the expense at the time of the dental than to wait and put your cat through pain later on and have to put under again for a 2nd surgery.

I am glad to hear the fragments have been removed now.

merhaba hande :-D

I'm so glad to hear the fragments were discovered and removed.
Wishing for a speedy recovery for Shanga,
(Black Kitty is preparing confetti for a celebration. . . ) ;-)

Hi Hande,
We are very glad to hear that all the old roots have been removed and that Shanga is on the road to recovery. He deserves a break and so do you. You are a terrific mamabean to make sure that your boy gets the proper treatment.
Many, many hugs to you both, and healing vines for Shanga to help him recover quickly,

I have been following Shanga's story and I know how hard this has been for you both. I am so glad the root fragments are gone and I hope Shanga is on the road to recovery. Many hugs to you and Shanga.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your support... That brings tears on my eyes... It means a lot... Thank You Guys...
Shanga is sleeping, actually it is the only thing he did today until now... He is under the blanket and sleeping...
But he is doing good.
First time he got the surgery his vet took the xrays after the surgery but it was a bit dark.
Finally yesterday he got better xrays to check. You had to see me yesterday when i saw the fragments on the xrays... I was like yaaaaaaaaaay...
I want to believe that that fragments was the reason of his stomatitis back. I think I am really going crazy...

I tried to take his photos this week but he doesnt seem so cheerful because of the pain. So I hope Im gonna make good pictures this week and hey we can make a party. I can not wait for that :)

I really want to thank you all again and over again for everything...

Love you all

Hande and Shanga

Hi Hande.....sending many healing vines to Shanga. I'm so glad you took him back and got the xrays to show the fragments. Poor Shanga.

I hope this totally resolves his stomatitis and he'll be back on the road to good health soon.

somehow i can just picture you cheering for the root fragments! it's so good to find the cause of a problem - then you can tackle it!

we're just waiting for you - it's all pretty exciting. hope the little guy feels better soon.
