Shai 6 May pms 27.4

That’s a nice string of green and not too low at all. You could have stopped testing at +5.

Too low is below 50. The 80's is a nice safe range and once he starts getting more used to those numbers he's stop bouncing as much.

A favour to ask of you - a large number of the people who help with dosing are from the US, so we request that people use the American measurements of blood sugar numbers. The spreadsheet does that conversion for you so you can just look there to get the equivalents. 27.4 = 493. Although I speak "world mmol/L cause I'm Canadian", it didn't take long to be fluent in American mg/dL, and you'll get more help that way.

Starting the day at 33 black 594 losing hope I’ll ever go through with this but thanks

Btw He is happy when around the yellows over & under he is only sleeping not doing anything

That's very common for cats that are used to higher numbers to be more active then. I used to be able to predict when Neko was in low 300's because that's when she'd start playing with her toys. Her first greens she hid under the bed. I was so happy when the low 100's became her play time. Think of blood sugar like caffeine. They are used to a certain amount to keep them perky. Take away some of those cups of coffee, and how do you feel? Slow and dragging. Over time you get used to less caffeine/high blood sugar.

Thank you not sure what the highest can be but when he’s over 25 am worried sick for him

It will be a year soon & highs most of the time since Dec so it’s a bit too much to cope

Neko's first year, she occasionally got over 33.3 (600). I didn't know the exact number cause all the meter would show was "Hi". :( And for the same reason as Shai, bouncing due to some lovely greens the cycle or two before. On the plus side, Shai saw at three hours of greens last night, that's progress.

Lovely blue and good safe greens last night, Dinah. Keep up the good work. You are making progress. It just seems like “two steps forward and one step back.”

Sorry
