According to your signature line and spreadsheet, you're following TR. If that is the case, I suspect the reason for the high numbers is that you're holding doses for way too long. Even with SLGS which has you evaluate the dose after a week, you've been holding a dose for too long. The problem with holding a dose overly long is that it can cause glucose toxicity. In other words, your cat's system gets used to the higher numbers and starts treating high numbers as the new "normal."
