Scooter having LB issues

This AM I came into the LB area and Scooter was in the box just staring, making some jerking motions. I think he was trying to poop but couldn't. I added 1/4 tsp miralax plus some extra water into his food today. Is there anything else I can do to help the poor boy?

I add a bit to Ollie's food every day and foods for everyone has extra water added. By now, everyone prefers to lap up their foods. Keep adding water to the foods and a bit of miralax to each meal; you can adjust when you get results.

Make sure he is peeing, as male cats can get blocked and it looks like constipation but they are trying to pee. Miralax works best given regularly. It wont do any good to give it a few days. It is an osmotic so it draws water to the colon, but it may not help with already hard poo in there.
