Well, fingers and paws crossed, but it looks like Sammy will be OTJ, with any luck, officially on April 1st (not a joke). She is on Day 6 today. Thanks again to all who helped us since we started the sugar dance last October.

The countdown begins. Keeping our paws crossed for you both!!

However I would start the count on the 22nd because normal cat levels are 2.2-7.2 and Sammy was out of range then. We want a strong remission so you can try and help by feeding many mini meals through the day to help support the pancreas. Big meals can stress it.

Also, obviously, absolutely no dry or high carb anything.

Thanks. Sammy does not eat anything other than her FF Turkey and Giblets, EVER. I have to garnish with freeze dried chicken once in a while, but that is straight protein. Many little meals, yes, always have done. Throw away a bit of cat food that way, as they dont finish it all, but oh welll, its a few cents here and there.
