Hi all,

Just thought I would stop by and say "hello" to all the wonderful people who helped my sweet girl. Savannah is still enjoying life at the falls (knock on wood) and we hope she continues on that path for some time!
I just wanted to share that my hubby and I are expecting a baby boy :) which may explain my hiatus from this board... I wasn't feeling too well the first four months and was often too tired or ill to post. The average bed time after work was 8 o'clock! But now I am feeling better and wanted to drop everyone a line and again share my appreciation for my special girl!

BTW, does anyone have any tips for cats and babies? I'm hoping she'll be okay. We have introduced her to some of the new furniture but I can tell she knows something is up as we are constantly moving things around. She's been very needy with my husband lately too.

CONGRATULATIONS!! For Savannah and the baby, what wonderful news!!!

My DD had hew first baby in December. they too have cats (3), and have had no problems at all. Their cats are curious, check out Nicholas, and for them the baby is just another human. My DD let them check out all the baby stuff before he was born - I don't know it that helped or not. ?? Nicholas's arrival has not bothered them either - no behavior changes, etc. It took the kitties a couple of weeks, like 2, before they would stay in the same room, but after that things were cool. For them they have maintained the normal kitty routine so that their basic lives are unchanged. They now don't even mind when the baby cries.

Homie (GA) and binks both welcomed a new baby into the house a few years ago (not mine)...and had no issues whatsoever...hope it's the same for you...

Congratulations on your family expansion, and it's great to hear that Savannah is doing well. I've always loved that picture of her. I hope she and your little boy become fast friends.
