Hi everyone, I am so upset to be back like this, but my cat Juliette is in a crisis. She collapsed, screaming and panting 2 days ago, and needed emergency vet care. Her blood work came back pretty normal. The doctor believes something is wrong with her heart, as they found a heart murmur, which could have caused whatever happened to her (blood clots?? stroke?? I don't know). I am terrified.
After Sasha's sudden loss, I feel like I'm living a nightmare. Out of all of our babies, Julie has ALWAYS been healthy, never had so much as a sniffle. I just can't even believe this is happening. Has anyone here experienced something like this?? The vet said Julie needs to see a Cardiologist to get an EKG.
I've started a fundraiser for her to get this test because we don't have the money for it, and none of the vets will budge about up front payment. Does anyone here have any experience fundraising like this, or know of any groups that would post her fundraiser page? I am so, so scared she is going to die. She isn't quite herself now, kind of subdued, and drinking SO SO much. I told the vet, and she had no idea why that would be. She is interested in food, but she sort of withdraws, when usually she is so affectionate and interested in what everyone is doing. This is the link to the fundraiser page http://fnd.us/c/4ZVX7 Any feedback on it, or guidance in how to get it seen, or how to fundraise would be so, so helpful. I have no idea what I'm doing, and I'm doing this basically while crying and shaking. Ahhhhh. Thank you all for reading, and I'm so sad to be back under these conditions
I think of you all often. This board will always be in my heart.
Thanks, and love to you all,
Tara
