I created a spreadsheet that calculates the carb as a % of calories with a goal to be below 10% to use while food shopping. The calculated percentage will turn red if the end result is above 10%, and will stay green if under 10%. I am revisiting it after a hiatus, and want to be sure it is calculating correctly and that I'm using the correct numbers.
I am using the As-Fed and Dry Matter basis numbers for the 'Checkmate' food, under the Chicken Cans category as a test.

For the Checkmate dry matter basis numbers, I am coming up with carbs at 6.5%. However, when I use the As Fed values, the carbs come out to 3.2%. Two questions:
- Are either of these values accurate in terms of the resulting carb %?
- Should the resulting carb % be the same from dry matter basis and as fed, even though they're coming out different?
