I remember when I adopted BunBun a little over 2 1/2 years ago. I just picked up MurrFee's ashes and there was voice message for a lady I worked with at the animal shelter and she said she had a diabetic cat that was surrendered and asked If I was interested. That was BunBun.

I little over a year ago BunBun had his first cutaneous mast cell tumor removed. Sx month later another one removed. I went to oncologist whe removed another three. The started with one chemo drug , than another and another will no real success. New mast-cell tumors kept popping up. There was nothing more to try. The problems is the tumors get licked and scratched and then infected.

Saturday was a Blessing of the Animal at a local church and here is a photo taken then. Here is also a photo I took this morning . Nala is in the foreground and BunBun in the background. I adopted Nala, also diabetic, a little less than two months ago. At that time I received an email from the same woman who contacted me about BunBun that the shelter had another diabetic cat, Nala. This time BunBun and his successor could meet. This is unlike the other times where the successor never meets their predecessor. Nala has learned a lot from BubBun such as how to not like My dog Raggy. When BunBun was in good health he would attack Raggy with no provocation. Nala is a lot better with Raggy.

Oh Larry, I am so very sorry to hear it was BunBun's time to go the bridge. You gave BunBun a home with all the love and care any kitty could wish for. Sometimes there just isn't anything else we can do.
Rest in peace little one. You will be sorely missed!
