#'s coming up with help from HC food

Spreadsheet shows 96 at +3 on alphatrack meter. Was he 69 on the human meter at +3 or is one of these numbers a typo?
Yes I ran out of AT st they strips they sould have arrived Thur/Fri but the one time Amazon lets me down is when I needed strips!
Anyway I had to switch to human. so 69 human 30 min late after HC food on AT he was 96. His pattern is to drop until +5, but I wasn't going to hang out and watch that. I can't handle it. He drops to much for my liking. It started Saturday evening.

hang in there Edye -- Catcat's got an active cycle going too -- half an hour ago was 76 on human meter, but he's done that before, he's not worried, neither am I; will see if Friskies gets him up in the 90-100 range, testing shortly

update: +4.5 = 117

Glad he is coming up for you. Just keep testing to make sure he stays up when the high carb food wears off.

Happy your strips came. I learned to keep quite a stockpile (like 200) when I had to pay for overnight shipping once. Lol
That’s the problem with AT2, they are hard to find locally (if not impossible).

Yes I have 100 more being delivered. I tried to find them and they are no where to walk in and buy. My vet prefers AT because it can prevent people from freaking out with a false low. But even with AT at 3.5 he was only 96. So he was too low for my liking.

Gizmo came down gradually from some pretty high numbers. So I had lots of time to get used to lower numbers slowly. Although towards the end he did throw me a 30 something on the AT2. I about lost my mind. Had to remind myself that he was acting perfectly normal and while shaking retested. Still the same number. :nailbiting: Thank goodness he came back up. :cat:

Orson’s numbers are looking pretty good for just a few weeks into this sugar dance. You are doing great!

99 is still a safe number but I understand your concern with such a drop, I will tag a few members that have a little more experience but I'm not sure if they will be on today to have a look. If you decide to go to work maybe try leaving out some MC it might help slow him down.

@Bobbie And Bubba @Sienne and Gabby (GA) if you guys are available would you be able to provide some advice for Edye?
Hey there, I see you gave a reduction. As I had mentioned before earlier, when you give a reduction, the first 1/2 of the cycle is still under the influence of the higher depot. He had a really nice cycle today and @+5.5 he was in a nice safe number. See how he is all ready coming up? I would go back to the 2 units as he is getting some nice safe green numbers with that dose. The more time he spends in the greens, the better healing for his pancreas and the more his body gets use to it.

I am a bit confused...did you get your AT2 strips today and started using them again. +2 and +3 are on your SS as human meter and the rest is the AT2.
