Hello,

My poopy's sugar was 83 this am in disbelief I re took it and his sugars are always high. 600-200. Recheck was 97. Holding his 4u of vetsilin. He's eating his FF paté. When should I recheck his sugar after eating? I've also posted in his insulin thread as well...

I'd say maybe 2-3 hours after he eats! Those are some lovely numbers, congrats!!

Yeah, I Retook it at 10am it was 290. Per the vet only gave him 2u instead of his 4u he usually gets.....

Some cats bounce around. And some of that bouncing is from different eating each day. Some is just the diabetes disease. Vetsulin usually has a pretty fast nadir, but I've never used it. I hope Rupert gets more regulated...so it's easier to handle.
