Sue and Oliver (GA) said:I am thinking maybe a teeny bit less when she is under 200, the .75 in the 200s and maybe teeny bit more over 250. It could probably just be fat and skinny doses of the .75?
Food really brings her up. You're doing Friskies, right? What's the carb count? (just wondering if anothe flavor with a few less carbs might bring her down a bit and eliminate the need for tweaking the dose.)
Sue and Oliver (GA) said:Well, if you get bored (yeah, right  ) you might keep track of flavors fed and see if the 6 carb corollate with the lower numbers and the 9 with the higher. Some cats are very carb sensitive and just a few points lower in carbs can mean a different range of numbers. (if she would be under 250-270 consistently, she would be below the renal threshold, giving her pancreas the optimum chance to heal. If she was in the mid200s at preshot and 100s at nadir, she would be regulated. Also good.)
Sue and Oliver (GA) said:No, you don't want to feed fish daily. Wonder about checking the charts and seeing if you can find something a little lower but still Friskies. You could save that flavor for only her and let the civies eat the higher stuff.
Looks like Special Diets Friskies run in the 5 range - not sure about them. Liver and Chicken is 7; so is Supreme Supper.
